Evaluation of Training
Training is often one of the largest whole life
cost elements of a project. Organisations rely on training to ensure their
personnel have the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to make the
business a success or meet regulatory requirements. A formal evaluation of
training validates whether the training is any good and whether the learners and
the organisation are actually getting any benefit from the training investment.
Using the well known Kirkpatrick training
evaluation model, MBCL training evaluation services include:
- Determining how learners felt about
the training or learning experience using post course questionnaire and
analysis.
- Assessing the increase in knowledge
or intellectual capability from before to after the learning experience.
- Evaluating the extent to which the
trainees applied the learning and changed their behaviour in the workplace.
- Identifying and documenting the
effect on the business or environment resulting from the improved
performance of the learner(s).

Key Benefits include assurance that...
- training
delivery meets learner expectations
- learners retain
and apply new knowledge, skills & attitudes
- performance
improvements realised through training are as expected
- training
investment is returning desired performance
