Training Design

MBCL provide training design services which include the development of new, or modification of existing training interventions. A training design may be for a simple face to face lesson, computer based training (e-learning) or role playing exercises or any combination of multi-modal learning methods. We can support you through the development of Storyboards, training device requirements, training matrix, Lesson Plans, Assessment methods and Evaluation strategies.

We've all experienced bad training. You know the type which either assumes you have just left junior school, or that you can't keep up with because the designer has assumed you were already experienced in XY or Z. The training that involved the trainer just reading from screeds of text on Powerpoint slide after slide. The training that was so fancy and techy but sort of missed the point. The training that left you numb, bored, disillusioned, and having learnt next to nothing.

Designing bad training is easy. Designing excellent training is not, but the end result looks elegant and natural - it feels as if it must have been easy. More importantly it ensures that the required knowledge, skills and attitudes are fully and effectively transferred to your training audience allowing them to perform to standard.
